Born to Run Farm Bridal Suite What to Expect and How to Use It

Your wedding morning sets the tone for everything that follows. At Born to Run Farm, we give you five hours in our bridal suite before the ceremony, and that window is yours to shape however your day needs it.

Making the Most of Your Five-Hour Window

The bridal suite is included when you book The Dorothy package, or you can add it a la carte if you choose another option. Either way, you get five full hours before your ceremony to prepare, gather your closest people, and ease into the biggest celebration of your life.

Building Your Morning Timeline

Five hours sounds generous, and it is. But the time moves faster than you expect once hair, makeup, photography, and those quiet moments with your bridesmaids all come together.

Most couples arrive three to four hours before their ceremony. That gives your hair and makeup team time to work without rushing, and it leaves an hour or more for getting dressed, detail shots, and the emotional moments your photographer will want to capture. You can coordinate timing with our team when you finalize your schedule.

If you book an engagement photo session with us, which comes with the Dorothy package, you already know the property. You have a sense of where light falls in the afternoon and how the mountain views frame your ceremony site. That familiarity helps when you are planning your first look or choosing where to gather before you walk down the aisle.

Who You Bring and How You Use the Space

Some brides bring their full bridal party. Others keep it to immediate family or just a couple of close friends. The suite gives you privacy and a dedicated spot to prepare, but how you fill that time is completely up to you.

Our staff is available throughout the morning if you need anything. Golf cart services are part of your booking, so getting from the suite to your ceremony site or any other spot on the property is easy. We have worked with enough weddings to know when to check in and when to step back, and our personalized guidance from start to finish includes making sure your morning flows the way you envisioned.

Coordinating with Your Vendors

Your hair and makeup artists, photographer, and any other vendors you bring in for the morning should know about the five-hour window. Share your ceremony time when you book them, and make sure they build travel and setup time into their schedules.

Bridal Suite

We work with preferred vendors like Janine Collette, MZ, BTR, and Wildflower for photography. If you are working with one of our event planners, like Made Simple or An Affair to Remember, they can help you map out a realistic timeline that accounts for everything from the first curling iron plug-in to your final walk out the door.

Caterers like WillowSage or Bex can arrange light refreshments for your bridal party if you want something available during prep. Florists such as Bespoke or Solstice often deliver bouquets and arrangements to the suite before the ceremony. Coordinating all of this ahead of time keeps the morning calm.

What Happens After You Leave the Suite

Once you are ready, the rest of the property is yours. The ceremony site with its arbor and seating is already set. The cocktail hour, wine barrel bar, and reception spaces are in place. The outdoor lounge furniture that comes with the Dorothy package gives your guests comfortable spots to gather while you take portraits after the ceremony.

The suite is not just a room. It is the starting point for your entire celebration on Point Mountain, and the five hours we give you there are meant to ease the transition from getting ready to stepping into the day you have been planning.

If you want to walk through how your morning will unfold or talk about adding the bridal suite to your booking, reach out to us. We have guided plenty of couples through this part of the process, and we can help you build a timeline that works.
